With the move into the new location, June was an extremely busy month for the whole team! Set in the heart of Waterdown, our store is now officially Campus&Co., leaving behind Trader Jack’s cramped space for a beautiful, full grocery experience.
In June, Campus&Co. achieved $62,836.90 in sales revenue.
Dial the clock back a year and we had a $50K sprint in June of 2019. The sprint we had was a big event, representing a significant increase in sales for us last year. Compared to that event our June of last year, our sales are 11% down this year.
The graph below shows each locality's participation, based on individual households making at least one transaction during the month of June. As you can see, Hamilton has come out on top with every household making at least one transaction! The lowest rates came in at 88% which is very close to our target of 100% participation.

April Campus & Co. Musical Talent Competition
With all of the spare time, our children have these days, we are inviting all community members under the age of 20, to create a recorded song, video or printed story about our Superstore. The parents may assist in the productions but to preserve the unique talents of our children, we are looking for the content to be as much from the children as possible.
The content must portray our Campus&Co. Superstore is a positive light. The content needs to be presented in a musical format, video or printed story that is presentable to our community and void of worldly promotion. The submissions will be posted on the Campus&Co website for the enjoyment of all and so the submissions must be in accord with our way of life.
Our large team of volunteers will be the judges and will vote for the winning submission on April 17th, 2020. The winner will be announced on Saturday, April 18th, 2020 and the prize delivered/picked up with the next household order.
The due date for submissions: April 15th, 2020
Age: 20 years or younger
Submit to: Marketing.hamiltonna@campusandco.com

Covid 19 has brought a lot of uncertainty to humanity, universally, with the spread of this virus. At this time, we want to assure you that Trader Jacks is doing everything possible to become your safe shopping experience.
You may have already been contacted by one of our friendly team members, asking you a few questions about how we can serve your needs best in this trying time. We would greatly appreciate your candid feedback and assistance so that we can save you the risk of going out to your local grocery store where the same assurances of a protocol cannot be guaranteed.
Our team is pulling out all stops to make it possible for every community member to rely on Trader Jack’s for their grocery requirements. With many of us being high-risk for contracting the Covid19, mothers at home with their school children, husbands trying to handle the change in the business world, Trader Jack’s wants to make it simple for you to get your groceries from Trader-Jack’s.
Watch this space as we roll out a plan to keep you away from the crowds and unknown hands on your groceries!

Trader Jack’s is so much more than just a place to shop!
Every time you purchase the things that you can at Trader Jack’s, you will find it gives you a great sense of satisfaction to know that your expenditure did more than just buy the groceries in your cart. It is putting fuel in the buses, it is purchasing textbooks and paying down the collective debts for our campus school and much more!
We need to be honest though...
Without your full support behind this initiative, the funds will not be generated to cover these expenses and will leave us all with the responsibility to come up with the difference. Our sales have been lagging at Trader Jack’s in recent months and we would like to know what we have to do to earn your business.
The team has been adding a great number of new products to the store every week, we have opened up the online ordering to the Toronto area and expanded into supplying businesses. Our inventory is the highest it has ever been, yet we are not seeing our best revenues.
Please tell us how to win your business so we can get back to supporting our school with much-needed funding!

Myles of march is a national initiative in which our campus has been teamed up with all of the Ontario and Quebec superstores, to hit a new revenue goal during the month of March. Myles is a road-trip enthusiast, travelling here and there and going the extra mile to make sure we are hitting the target! He is using the teams to share ideas and collaborate, but also bringing accountability to each campus.
In the image below, you will see the many pins dotted throughout North America that indicate where Campus&Co has a store. We are a big chain of stores with a superb mission.
North America has been divided up into 8 teams with a total revenue goal of $1,350,000.00 for the month of March. The goal for Trader Jacks will be revealed in the coming days but we wanted to make sure that you heard it first from us!
Our team needs ideas on what we can do to capture more of your household grocery spend. Please tell us in the comments below!
